When: 15th, 16th or 17th of December. Each run is roughly 9 hours of playtime, 1 hour of information and 1 hour of workshop.
Where: Gothenburg, Sweden
Venue: 3:e Våningen, a series of old industrial halls that have been rebuilt for theatre, dance and art installations. The venue will be the same as used in Do Androids Dream, but with a very different focus.
Address:
Sockerbruket 9, Gothenburg
How to get there:

Sign-up: Is open! You can find it here: SIGN UP
Number of participants: 35 per run.
Price range: We have decided to use a varied payment plan, where everyone pays what they can afford, from a minimum level and upwards.
We will be able to run the larp even if everyone pays the minimum, but it will be at a significantly lower level of aesthetics and scenography. The greater the number of participants who pay a higher ticket price, the more will we be able to invest into the scenography, sounds, lights, layout and overall expenses. If we end up with a surplus, we will use it to invest into better locations and scenography for future larps.
The lowest price will be 500 SEK / 55 euro, going up to 1200 SEK / 130 euro per player for our ideal budget.
Casting:
Due to the short notice, we have decided to have a first come, first serve basis for the tickets. When you buy a ticket, we accept either payment through PayPal or, you sign up in the form and pay through Swish. As soon as we’ve confirmed the Swish payment and you have signed in the form, the sign up is valid.

WE EXPECT OF YOU TO:
Show up on time for the workshops and the game
Put in an effort to contact the players of your existing character relations before the game
Make an effort to dress, act and talk in a way that goes along with the 80s Noir-Cyberpunk feeling of the movie Blade Runner or our previous larp, ‘Do Androids Dream?’
Bring your own snacks or in-game suitable food to sustain yourself during the game. We will serve noodles but they are part of the scenography, not meant as a full meal.
SAFETY
This larp will use a few streamlined techniques to improve player experience and safety. Our goal is that they should be very non-intrusive and they will be rehearsed during the workshop.
There will be water-based smoke from smoke machines at the larp. It will not contain any toxic gasses or anything harmful to people, but might be irritating for some. Take note.
This larp is a mature larp that involves many difficult themes. It will include objectification and sexualization, trafficking, some abusive elements as well as slavery. Not every character includes all of these themes, but they are present in the larp. Make sure to read through all the content and themes so you are certain that this larp is for you.
META-TECHNIQUES
There will be a few different meta-techniques, mostly involving the different zones or locations in the larp. They will be showcased and practiced at the workshop.
Crossroads: We will use a slightly modified variant of the Crossroads technique that was used in Do Androids Dream and showcased at Nordic Larp Talks 2017. It consists of a small area where players go while “travelling across the city” as their characters. It symbolizes the streets connecting the different locations, where people will walk some time between each transition. There, the other players are not playing their characters and things you say there will never have direct consequences. Everyone will be as a shadow to the others, and you can either talk to these Shadows or you can just talk out into thin air as a monologue. Things you say there will have an impact on your character going into the next scene – for example, we encourage people to make vows or make important decisions while sitting there, such as: “I’m going to go to the Club and really confront them this time, I’m not going to back down” – and then, when they leave, they have to carry out that action or try to. It’s a way to make us more prone to follow through with the drama and maximize it’s impact in the hours that we have, but also to allow everyone a moment of introspection and the feeling of moving through the city.
Conflict: We will use a technique practiced at Monitor Celestra, where all conflict creates a director of the drama, through an order of: Gun > Other weapon > Unarmed. It will be showcased at the Workshop, but the idea is that if someone pulls a weapon, they decide where the scene will go. If someone goes against their direction, they are the ones who will get hurt. The level of injury varies between the acts, where in Act 3, it will be deadly. Fighting will be done through a stylized technique used at The Solution and shown in more detail before the larp.
